I got in trouble at work for telling a mate to "stick your point twenty five up your ass" in a friendly tone. Some woman was waiting around to clock out and she was deeply offended.

she's ugly too.
hectorc
Not really but most of us do it. The only time we tone is down is in front of management or visitors.

At my last job, a lot of filth would come out of both mine and my boss's mouth. Especially when the hot secretary would pass by our office.

Ugly people usually have personality defects due to being rejected and having to try harder to gain people's trust and affection. Often they are very bitter or neurotic.

I say this as an ugly person.

Not if you make it a habit but if it slips it slips.

i think the question here is less on if you are allowed or not and more about what kind of professional image you want to portray.

Ill curse infront of some of my clients and the other trainers clients that I know. Im independent so im my own boss and never have to worry about getting written up or fired. But some times its bad for business and referrals.

Political correctness is the downfall of society. There are far too many people looking to be offended. :whip:

If I were in your shoes I'd do anything subtle to offend her, including blatant abuse of blue language in and around her office/desk.

Unless she's your boss (doesn't sounds like it though)

MrJiveBoJingles
Getting offended at cursing is not "political correctness."
Frenchie
Never in front of my clients nor in front of head honchos but in and around my our offices it happens. Nothing too explicit aside from a lot of "ah "s and "" here and there but never TO someone.
