So a simple question...would you become involved with intimate relations with a co-worker?
Do you think it would be awkward afterwards?
Can you share any experiences? |

But were you dating prior to this or did you meet at your job? |

Depends:
If you are looking for something not so serious, stay away from coworkers. One night stands with coworkers lead to awkward and messy situations. There are lots of other places to 'pick up'
However if you actually form a connection with someone I think you should persue it regardless of where you met them. It would be silly not to date your potential soulmate just because you work with them. |

I've dated two.
One I worked with directly, which was great until it fell apart and we were stuck working in close-quarters.
Now, I'll date people at work, but not in any related department, so if it goes South, we don't get caught in the same situation. I dumped #2 last week and it's been fine.
...except she keeps asking me to come back to her...not going to happen. |

yeah I really think that it's all fun and games while it lasts
but if things go bad, it's bound to be uncomfortable to even work on the same floor, let alone same department
so I'd say it's probably a good idea not to get involved with work peeps
haha, this reminded me of an "unwritten" rule we had in my 3rd year res apartment - no sleeping with people from the same apartment :p |

Depends how much you consider your job a career vs just a job.
Career job, absolutely not. |
