I've been listening to his Vonync sessions for the last while now.
Some of the sets he plays out are incredible, and some kinda bad but for the most part though he was playing good tunes. Don't see what the hate here is for.
what's a 'last while'?
i do not know that period of time designation.

Im a clubber and I like what he plays...I know some people (e.g. my friend) go see him only to critize the music and compare pvd to their favorite DJs. I hate that so if u dont like Pvd stfu and go see tiesto or dubfire...:toocool:

Speaking of Tiesto, didn't PvD criticize Mr. Verwest in a roundabout way for playing Disneyland? PAUL!! You're not allowed to criticize Tiesto playing Disneyland until YOU'VE played Disneyland yourself!

Yeah, obviously he played that gig for his fans and not for some German cunt.

Here's an idea:
Why not just make music for yourself rather than for the clubbers or the critics? And if someone else happens to like it, all the better?
I know, I know, music is a "business" and people have to make a living, not simply go wherever their own creative impulses lead them, right?

He already did that implicitly when he talked about people on the forum being bitter because they haven't done what PvD has.
Ah right - what do we have left then?

The "get out for once and stop downloading mp3s in your mom's basement" card?

It really goes off in a club? You don't know 'til you've experienced it? Weasels?

You can't make a judgment about a DJ until you've heard him spinning in the context of a flashing strobe light while standing in the midst of a sweaty crowd in a dark club and off your head on about ten different pills of dubious quality.
So there!

The completely unrelated youtube video!

Its like anything really , People here think tiesto is ( well too many names to mention) , but i went to his gig in london a couple of months ago and everything , the music , location and crowd was a really good night out.
I heard solarstone was playing at a local venue and i went and to be honest , it wasnt as good as you would of expected. Sorta like stick to producing.
Its the same across all genres , i saw a horrible youtube vid of katy perry singing live. The excuse of 'she cant sign live' wears thin. She obviously needs the studio equipment and vocal mastering to sound good.
Thus comes the term , im doing it for the fans not the critics.
