| Equipment doesn't grow on trees. The start up costs of being a DJ are pretty steep. How did you do it? |

I started as paperboy at my 18th.
Moved on to technical service of a major events location, while studying.
Now I'm still studying, self employed with several big clients and slowly investing in more gear. |

Worked, borrowed some money. Worked some more, paid that off.
I knew what i wanted, 1210 MK3D's. They were my first ever ebay purchase.
Still have them. Then a Vestax PCV 275 and then serato.
Went traveling for a year an a half and bought myself a Macbook Pro when i got home.
Then a Xone 92, and a few weeks ago Traktor.
Now i've got one last purchase, FaderFox DX2 and i'll hopefully be done for a while.
Though i'll be paying off the above for a year at least (loan).
Was it worth it... definitely.. |

| worked for 3 years on minimum wage, first bought a Numark CM200, PHX Cans and a CDN95, the 95 went to so I bought 2 Numark TTXUSB's and a DXM09 mixer with Sony MDRV700's, never had a problem since, still saving up for some decent PA speakers |
