I always seem to spell it wrong. :p
edit: I am completely up for the challenge, I just needed to make sure it's possible asking some more experienced heads. I'm a pretty lazy kid now, smart but lazy, but I think I can do it. I'm only on my junior year in high school so maybe I can rack up some cash before it's all over with, plus a $500 scholarship that I have in the bank from elementary school, which should get me a couple of books. Hopefully as soon I get in there I start to become more aware and wake up a bit so I think it's important for me to push myself and pay for it myself. |
since you're still a junior in high school, i say go get yourself a part time job. who cares where the hell you are. if you're frying and flipping cold burgers, cleaning up on the floor and tables, or waiting people at a restaurant, money is money, especially for a young guy like you.
when i was a junior in high school, i got myself a part time job that was flexible towards my school schedule where i was able to work more hours during the summertime (summertime during high school sucked for me, because i was always working :( ). by the time i got to college, i had a solid 5 figures in my bank account to back me.
//edit also, i was making $6.50/hour. :( |

| it just seems pointless to join the army to pay for school when they don't pay for school. |

| I think it's because he didn't go directly into the Air Force but went to school to get in. Something like that, right? |

nono, the AF paid for up to 15k of tuition per year. after my third year, inflation had increased out of state tuition to over $15k per year. so i had to pay the rest.
also, they did not pay for housing. so dorms, rent, etc... was all student loaned. |
