Don't be so sure about this. The Hotel crowd is pretty sketchy in general IMO. One time I was there on a Thursday just minding my own business, when all of a sudden I felt someone tap on my shoulder. I turned around, and this big thug guy said, "Yo, what's up man?", wound up as far as he could and cuffed me in the face for absolutely no reason. Before I had a chance to even realize what was going on, two more huge thug guys were already in my face. In 6+ years of clubbing, I've never had something like this happen to me.
I've been to Hotel before and after this, and will probably go again, but I still maintain Hotel is sketchier than most places other places I go. |

This doesn't surprise me at all. The security staff at Hotel is good for the most part, but I got head butted in the face by one of them, while I was walking away.
He just pissed off the wrong person who just happened to have a gun. It can happen in any club. All it takes is a pissed off patron with a gun.
I'm glad he's gonna be okay though. |
