Nice one If I might add. I think this type of data is something a lot of producers have yet to be exposed to. Especially if they have yet to have a track mastered. So it might change their outlook on mixing and make things easier for them. Because I know a lot of bedroom producers are trying to make their tunes as loud as possible and comprimising their mix quality for it. |

Ok its ready, let me introduce what you'll be hearing first.
You know the difference between an original mix and remix right? Simple. Well theres something common DJs do called an "original mix remix" competition.
When artists try to remix an original track to sound LIKE the original. (really helps incredibly for skilled producers who want to improve) Labels will advocate the competitions for the purpose of covertly advertising a new release or w/e.
Well back when Cascada released their club banger an entire site was dedicated to an OMR competition.
This I got from a DJ friend/producer who was in the contest like 2 years ago. His compressor was fvcked (wound up throwing it away). But he brought his track to some pro mastering suite by him, they ran it through some high end analog compression and actually waves L3 ultra + many other things.
They basically fixed what sounded like a "broken" track, and I think they used some d'essers to get the glitches out. Incredible what mastering can do sometimes.

| Am I right in thinking that Eric Prydz doesnt have his tracks mastered, or am I getting myself confused with him producing his tracks on a "ty" laptop ? |
