He's not bitter. Fact is, what's been done is patchwrok and not change for the better. And you don't have to be there in persno tosee that (note: I have been there in person and see it's patchwork done.).

While some peeps see the patchwork as grand changes done with place, wstep back and it's the sajme places with bandages put on. I hope it's becomes more than that in the future, though. Look at the dump Vanguard was before its makeover.

from the audience's point of view yes, it was great to have a dj that close. as i have stated. but for a dj who just flew in from brazil or romania going from seeing beautiful women who look alive and sentient to disgusting washers sweating with their eyes rolled back swaying around like undead creatures of the night, doesn't really inspire sets that stand apart from the rest of their touring schedule. if you're there for the music, it's better that the dj isn't forced to look at that ugliness as if it's sitting across the dinner table from him. only then, from afar, can he or she possibly appreciate the energy of the crowd. it's the same for circus, avalon and vanguard.

I see what you are saying about washers. Washers are washers, what can you do? But on the real, real, real... I have been impressed with the amount of beautiful women at Circus this year. I don't think I am alone on this. Most of the washers are in the back of the room. There have been some gorgeous women frequenting Circus every Saturday. I've seen a lot more hotties at Circus this year than I have seen at the other big clubs in LA. The only club with hotter chicks is Wokcano on Sundays in Santa Monica.

It's not really fair to compare Circus to Romania when in Romania they have clubs where the women are topless on the Black Sea. C'mon dude. Where in LA is there a club with topless hot 18 year old women dancing on the beach? Tell me and then take me there immediately... I would love to play there. :)

Well this thread isn't about changes or patchwork or whatever... It's just a thread asking about DJ's that you and whoever else THAT DOES go to CIRCUS would like to see play there. That's all.

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone.
It's not warm when she's away.
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
and she's always gone too long
anytime she goes away.

Wonder this time where she's gone,
wonder if she's gone to stay
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
and this house just ain't no home
anytime she goes away.

And I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know...

i'm not posing that comparison for the sake of comparing clubs, or markets. i'm just saying from the dj's perspective: you're flying all over the world playing at some amazing places with stunning crowds week in and week out. the last thing you want to see is a washer in your face all night. it's a total vibe killer that turns a "party" into a "job". even just 1 washer in your face in a sea of hot women is distracting in a bad way. so if you're trying to have your guest dj play an above-average set, it helps if he can't see the washers up close to begin with. on the other hand, it's good to hear the washers are being pushed out by hot women at circus.

well it IS about changes when many of the djs suggested won't play at circus because of the lack of changes. sasha, digweed, armin, tiesto, vath, holden, many of the most highly requested djs around the world won't play at circus. it's a fact. they choose where they want to play and none of them choose circus. what you should be asking yourself is why not? i highly doubt the crowd or vibe or promoter or supporting djs or money have anything to do with it. if that's too uncomfortable an issue for you to tackle, then i will respectfully withdraw from the dialogue. either way, you should appreciate the fact that i kept your thread at the top of the forum all day today. :p
