Every time I go to Circus, the atmosphere gets better and better.
A few observations, compliments, criticisms:
(1) There seemed to be a lot of House music. :( I started getting bored in the main room around 3am, but the smaller room (which played more trance-y music) was nearly deserted by then.
(2) The $1000 drawing was awesome as always. My friend won the bottle service!
(3) The lights and lasers, especially the lights behind the DJs, were great. I also like how the DJs are still in the middle of the room instead of at one end.
(4) Did anyone else think the speakers were a bit too loud in the main room? Perhaps there was too much bass as well?
(5) I met my first fellow TA toward the end of the night. I think his handle is 'LA'. Shook his hand and we went on our ways.
(6) Rank-1 did well enough, but I wasn't blown away.
(7) I am still THRILLED that I was able to see all this for FREE! |
