Absolutely! The winning strategy is to set the expectations well below your capabilities... then every once and a while surprise her with something beyond her expectations (but not so great that you have to put out any real effort)... that way she'll love you for putting forward a half-assed effort. |

It's just common sense... I mean if you really go all out the first couple of years you'll eventually run out of time/money/energy/ideas and everything is going to be a let down for the rest of your time together. If you follow my plan then "romance" is like being a pro baseball player... if you hit the ball 1/3 of the time, just enough to get on base, then you're in the Hall of Fame! |

| Our 4 year anniversary was a week ago, so we're probably just going to dinner or something. I would say the flowers and diamond earrings cover me for Valentine's. |
