Deadmau5 isn't from Toronto.. he's from St. Catherines. ;)
Chris Sheppard is defintely the biggest Canadian DJ of all time. Dude's sold close to 4 million albums world wide, has had 2 top ten hits in the UK and 1 top ten hit in the US and a couple in Germany.
no way any other Canadian DJ has sold 3 million + DJ comps period.
Popular current Toronto DJs that come to mind.
Deadmau5
Luke Fair
Hatiras
Jelo
Sydney Blu
Adam K
Flipside
MSTRKRFT
VND/LSM
Mark Mendez
Jake fairly
Myagi
there are a few DnB guys that that travel a bit as well. |

Wow, Sydney is getting big now?! Good for her. Though I think she's from Ottawa.
I remember in the summer of 2004 or 2005, Docks "South Beach" after a party cruise, I was the ONLY PERSON dancing under that Gazebo while she was spinning. We were groovin. I told her I would happily be a Sydney groupie. Good times. |

In my opinion, a Toronto DJ who has “made it”...
Carlo Lio! Not only is he an amazing DJ but his productions are on fire!!! He keeps delivering sick dirty tracks one after another...He is recognized world wide...even Dubfire named Carlo Lio as (one of) fav new producers of 2008
Go Carlo Go! |

In a stifling relationship. Call her a rock if you like. |

The topic should be renamed to most famous world wide, since a lot of the guys mentioned spin primarily in Toronto and surrounding areas.
Deadmau5 plays worldwide, you can question the quality of his performances, but let's not get it confused, he is a 'DJ'.
I'll add Glenn Morrison to that list. |
