it's really funny how some people on here have such a hard time being objective about this....many of the names being mentioned are amazing dj's and producers but let's be realistic here..there are only a handful that have made their presence known on an international scale...
who cares if you don't like the dude..but cmon..how can you even argue that it's not deadmau5?? |

Love Carlo's sets anywhere.... :)
But for most Famous DJ from Toronto... My vote goes to Luke Fair |

you can argue that if you've been around longer than 2 years. |

Some of the most world renowned DJ's to come out of Toronto have been turntablists and Jungle DJ's.
DJ Dopey - Winner of a couple World DMC championships.
Capital J was getting nuff respect in the UK in the 90's. |
Capital J! lol.. I used to listen to him all the time.. great stuff then. And I agree, there have been quite a few good Jungle/DnB DJs come out of Toronto, but probably not the "most famous".
Right now I guess I'll jump on the bandwagon and vote for Deadmau5 and Hatiras, because I think they are the most relevant at the moment (as far as I know).
p.s. thanks for the links :) |

| What i was also wondering is if any of our locals have a fan base outside of canada, like Deko-ze or The Roaches etc. |

Toronto DJs that made it international also include
Robb G, Phat Conductor, Marcus Visionary |

honestly, what do you think?
i'm not knocking our locals as they are pretty amazing..but..let's be objective...
i think a good test of how big a dj is on an international scale is IF they DJ for a career...as in..don't have to hold other jobs to supplement their income.. |
