Funny you should post that, but I was just telling my mom how all the clapping makes me think of Stalin - the first person to stop clapping whenever Stalin's name was mentioned would be taken away by the KGB and never seen again. Thus, people clapped for dozens of minutes.
Seriously, what's with the clapping.
Also, the whole "hopeful tone" with everybody getting up to clap - they all look like robots. I had a vision of everything falling apart and Obama still saying "we will rebuild" in a robotic broken down voice. |
