anyway, I don't understand why people have to be butt naked, that's all.. like we've already mentioned - nothing's wrong with having at least some underwear on
|
and I don't understand why girls still wear uggs. It's personal choice.
I used to be weirded out by people who didn't give a about being naked but then I realized it was because I wish I felt the same level of comfort and confidence being that way. Now I don't give a as much. I get dressed but if it's not convenient to do so, I don't. IE I do not "towel change" in front of others. WE'VE ALL GOT THE SAME GOODS DOWN THERE. |

Did you know that the root of the word gymnasium, 'gymnos' means 'naked' in ancient Greek.
HMM.. back in the day gymnasiums were places where athletes trained.. naked!
Imagine if you not only had someone changing naked next to you, but running naked next to you too! Whoa-ho. Lookout.
Maybe that's why the elderly folk are runnin' around balls out. Lol. (jk) ;) |
"Cut and Paste" is a beautiful feature....;) |

You, sir, are rude.
I wasn't even talking about my field of study, or "trying to sound smart", it was just something I found interesting and to be related to the discussion.
And I didn't fail at all, actually. Shows how much you know. |

I'm not an authority to say for sure, but I think it's different with guys. Your junk is tucked away neatly whereas ours is flapping in the wind.
For a guy, if you're doing the towel change then maybe you're a bit insecure, but changing out in the open is a far cry from swingin' up onto the bench next to some dude minding his own business trying to put his shoes on and jiggling your spam sausage around at eye level. I don't care if it's half the size of mine and makes me feel like an elephant by comparison, I still don't want to see it.
Some people see any place where it's OK to be naked as an excuse to prance around naked, and there is a difference. We have actual nudist communities in or near the GTA; if it's really so important to you then go to one of those. |

This statement speaks volumes about *you* and has little to do with the nacth people around you.
Get over your hangups, peeps - if you're uncomfortable around nudity, it might be time to take a look into *why* that's the case. Too easy to point the finger outside of yourself, rather than looking inside for the answer. |
oh please... you aren't really that ignorant are you?
while no doubt some people have personal issues, surely you must be aware that not everyone is raised by the same two parents, or the same cultural or religious background to influence their sense of modesty? |

No Ev, I'm not that ignorant, and yes, I realise that we all carry our own little cache of cultural, religious and genetically ingrained differences.
I also believe that it doesn't hurt to be reminded every once in a while that we also carry the capacity to unbind ourselves from our conditioning and the neuroses that often accompany.
P.S.: I'm naked right now. Pretty gross. |
