But, I don't care if some guy wants to stand naked at the sink while he saves before going into work.
Is it really that scarring to see another naked person in a room of which was meant for people to get naked in?
|
Ya but aren't you gay? |

However, one thing that is gross : Hoking / Blowing your nose in the shower.
Things like public-nakedness - whatever. But snotting all over the shower is NASTY. One day I was getting changed, and this guy was having a long shower (the entire time it took me to shower / change he was still in the shower), and every few seconds you'd hear a hork / spit that'd echo through the entire change room, it was disgusting. |
people horking ANYWHERE in public grosses me out to no end. I witness people horking, spitting, picking their nose on the subway platform regularly, and i DON'T GET IT! This may not gross out anybody else, but i also can't handle people who clip their nails on the TTC either...for one, the sound "click click" makes my cringe, and 2, i don't like KNOWING that your nail clippings are on the floor, seat, anywhere near me....makes me wonder where else there's nail clippings around me! I clip my nails AT HOME, and into the garbage....where they belong.
random story about horking. When i lived in North York in an apartment building, the man living in the unit one over from me would hork off his balcony every single night at the same time...11:30pm. WHAT......THE...... and ew. |

but it is a changing room. Unless you are super man, you have to be naked at some point in the transaction. How long that naked time is, is up to the individual. |
um no you don't have to be naked, not completely
nothing's wrong with changing the bottoms first and then the top, or visa versa
if showering, what's wrong with changing into both bra and panties right there?
anyway, that just boggles my mind, and always will, I guess difference in upbringing just comes out right there
I used to swim for about 3 years, and we would never prance around naked in changing rooms

I think people have been raised in FAR too sheltered and repressed a manner. |
no offence man, but statements like that just make me laugh :) yeah sure my Mom has represed me whole childhood and cannot stand looking an naked women *cries*
I don't have a problem with saunas, that's where it's appropriate if anything |

gay or not, I don't particularly enjoy seeing old-man ball sack and his liver-spotted ass crack. But, not really worth bitching/ranting about.
I generally keep my eyes to myself, as I think it's rude (especially for a gay guy) to be all Mr. Wandering eye's at the gym. |

when I was a bit younger and going to gyms with a younger crowd, I was a bit unnerved by the odd older woman that would walk around buck naked in the change room. However now I go to a gym where it's older women, generally all Bay St professionals and kind of like seeing how women grow into being more comfortable with their appearance. I think it's ironic that at the age where you probably look the best (younger years) you're often more self conscious about every last dimple or jiggle...as you get older you start to appreciate your figure more even if it isn't as firm as it used to be!
That's how it goes with women, anyways. |

| Old man drying his junk with the hand dryer at my schools gym a few years ago, that was just bizzare. |

LOL.
Thanks for the update Mark! :p
I agree on the who the cares sentiment. Also, many dudes who are casual about it come from playing sports where I would imagine no one gives a about anyone else's junk.
(The word junk is awesome) |

Since when was the body something to be ashamed of? It's natural, it's human and there is nothing wrong with it. The only reason people feel "uncomfortable" is because you have been trained to believe that the "private parts" are supposed to be something you are bashful about.
So long as they aren't touching me or my things and aren't making sexual suggestions to me, then I don't really care. In fact, I happily shower without my top on in the change rooms (personally don't like having my crotch and ass hanging about though... probably because I am still "trained" that it should be hidden). |
