it's not a big deal, seriously |
That's how I feel....
complaining about old men who walk around nude sounds like you'd prefer to stare at young chisled men walking around nude :p
Just try it their way, before you know it you'll have your 6'9 frame swinging your junk at everyone you pass...which would probably be hilarious considering it's eye level with anyone who is short bwahahaha |

Honestly what the f$%# is wrong with old people, I go to good life and its only the dudes who are 60 plus that prance around butt naked around the change room.
Like I wear a towel till I change and then I’m naked for a few seconds, I’m six nine I have nothing to hide its just a respect thing I’m sure other dudes don't need to see my junk.
But these old guys walk to the shower with their towels on their shoulders with their old saggy balls flopping around and some of them shower with the curtain open like do I need to see that and to make matters worse they come to the benches and put one foot up on the bench and talk to each other ..... ahhhhhh gross |
Thats nothing!!!!
Try having an old fart stare across the shower at you, while they soap their fat beer cuts and drewl.
wtf!
on another note, my gym has a 200m indoor 3-lane track (walking, jogging, passing) and I constantly have to dodge to avoid running into the back of seniors who walk side by side gossiping. club staff won't say anything to them out of fear of offending someone. |

I hear ya, C
I'm not overly sensitive at all and it still bugs me, so I doubt it's all to with our sensitivity levels
I strongly agree that it's to do with upbringing
and FYI, whoever mentioned Europe and old ladies tanning topless - they only do it on vacation, you'll never catch them doing that when their on their own soil ;) |
Errr have you been to the beaches in France? or in Belgium/Holland? Everyone is always topless and most of them are from there. Same thing in Spain lol. Nobody gives a because it's your body.
I just don't see what the big deal is about people walking around naked or tanning topless. Who gives a lol If older people are comfortable enough with their bodies to do this then more the power to them.
Also, as many have pointed out already: changing room = room to take your clothes off, get naked, shower, put your clothes back on. Nakedness will happen. If you don't like it, then change at home and go home all sweaty and gross. At least you won't have to look at nekkies  |

| I've learned to stare directly at the ground and change as quickly as possible to avoid being grossed out.......I realize that we are all the same under our clothes but personally, it makes me uncomfortable to be around all that nudity...especially when it's so unnecessary....how hard is it to throw on underwear/bra or a towel? |

This statement speaks volumes about *you* and has little to do with the nacth people around you.
Get over your hangups, peeps - if you're uncomfortable around nudity, it might be time to take a look into *why* that's the case. Too easy to point the finger outside of yourself, rather than looking inside for the answer. |

thats exactly what I do
I walk home and shower in my own shower, because gym showers = gross
anyway, I don't understand why people have to be butt naked, that's all.. like we've already mentioned - nothing's wrong with having at least some underwear on

that's what I'm trying to get at!
I have nothing against strutting around naked my own house or being seen in the underwear by my room mate.. however in front of total strangers? not so much.. and I don't understand why others feel compeled to do that |

| Maybe they don't see everyone else around them as being "total strangers", hence the different level of comfort from yours. |

I believe that many people share my thoughts on attempting to preserve a basic level of modesty, especially in PUBLIC places......and if you think that the fact that I dont enjoy buck-naked strangers lounging around aimlessly right in front of me 'speaks volumes about me', then I'm cool with that.
ps....im not sure i know exactly what 'nacth people' are, but i'm sure i wouldn't like them either
:tongue2 |

You should ask the Japanese how they feel about living in one of their traditional shoji homes. Papers for walls basically. I'll leave the rest to your imaginations ;)
Basically, if it's not your business, ignore it. |
