How many EDM producers are there?

Both unsigned and signed, how many to you reckon are out there?
I put my estimate at around 100,000-300,000. It may seem like a large figure but considering 20 percent of the worlds population has internet access nowadays, it doesn't take much at all to enter the pool of "aspiring producers".

| Figure out: (1) how many total dance music fans there are and (2) what percentage of fans try to make the stuff. Then multiply those two figures by one another and you have a rough answer. |
