How about holding Godskitchen Global Gathering at the big globe at Flushing Meadow Corona Park here in Queens? I bet they would never get a permit though

Permits have been granted there for parties before, but not as big as Global Gathering. The closest in capacity would probably the cultural festivals that go on there in the Summer. That would be a fantastic idea though since I live 5 minutes from there :p

My friend and I came up with this idea where the world's top dj's come together with rave dj's for a 2-3 day festival on Central Park's Great Lawn. 100's of dj's and millions of people coming together for one reason- the love of the music. We have spoken to many dj's, promoters, even sponsors, and we are getting a lot of support. We need everybody involved in electronica for their support, especially the fans. If we could get all the fans support, to help spread the word, do as much as we can, we can make this thing happen, even make it an annual event! Write back tell us what you think.

idk.

Hey....this is not your man :)

they need to rent a huge boat like Armada did in Europe back in 2005 and sail it out into the ocean where theres no time restrictions and go from sunset to sunrise.
Neo95gt
Electric Zoo......Sounds pretty sick to me!

Sept 5th and 6th misses most Ibiza parties too. Please bring armada, cream and cocoon djs to nyc for that weekend, kthxbye

My dog peed on this promoter's leg one time and telepathically found out it was going to be at Madison Square Garden and the lineup would include Armin, DJ Sammy, Flip N Fill, Lasgo, and Lady GaGa

Not here. Qualifies as an outdoor event, that's why boat parties here are over @ 11 pm. I'd rather go to a smaller boat party than a massive one like what you're suggesting, it would probably require a Carnival ship to accomodate the size of the crowd.

That sounds like every random person I meet in a club. "Hey man, you're DJ Eco, you're great, me and my friend are thinking of doing parties in the city, we want to throw a big festival in MSG, we have big plans, we're gunna open a record label too, here's our card. I just started producing last week, I think this is my year!"

Side-rant, but whatever happened to going out and having fun? Everyone's networking nowadays!

^^

Hahahahahahaha, if I only counted the amount of people exchanging
business cards at the Armin event. People are making going out as a networking opportunity now, and it kinda just takes the fun out of being at the event and going there for what you went for.
