Ian and lisa back me up on this.
that was a beating in chicago, why has mlb.com not put this team at the top of its news headlines. The jays have the best record in baseball
baseball fans or not, show Toronto the respect it deserves. |

I agree with you on that one...
But watching them all season and they have been amazing!!!
MLB.com NEVER has anything about them on the front page of their site, and their are ranked #1 in the league right...BS lol
Ah well..it's all good. Who cares about that crap as long as we keep winning.
It'll be tough with the pitching situation we currently have with Romero on the DL, but I think we can manage. Tallet had a great performance last night!

well the Bosox-Yankees series is obviously headline news right now so that part isn't surprising.
It's also a long season too. I'm sure if the Jays are still boasting a .750 record or higher by say mid June, we'll be hearing a lot more of them. Obviously a great start though by going onto to win 4 or 5 of the first series you play.

To an extent I'm with you, but our closers have showed up which is key in the long run. Get 1... mmmaybe 2 more quality starters, we could be in the post season. |

I wouldn't call BJ Ryan blowing a 3-run lead in the 9th "amazing". They've been lucky; they need better pitching if they're going to make it much further in this season.
I shouldn't say better - they need consistent pitching, which is the one attribute they always fail to present. |

They've had some of the best pitching in the last 2 seasons. |

the last 2 seasons they also had AJ Burnett, Shaun Marcum, Dustin Mcgowan and Casey Janssen.
I feel that eventually their bats will cool off and that is when their pitching or lack there of will be exposed. Until then tho I will enjoy the ride :p |

Damn right they did! I'd say you can't get more consistent than the Jays pitching staff the past couple years.
A few question marks moving forward, even though some say its only April this good start will be very important come late Aug/earl Sept. & if they cool off a bit for a couple weeks they will still be in the thick of things.
Last nights game was a laugher!!! I wish they could play the AL Central everyday!!! |
