vocal timing is off in some parts
instrumental is cool
percs are nice
too much verb on leads and vocals flooding the breaks
I would consider this a separate track rather than a remix
In my opinion, choose between leads or singer, not both
if leads then use avonlea for adlibs,
if Avonlea then her voice needs to be louder and the leads need to step back in several parts of the arrangement. |

Just saw this two hours ago, and I think I'm done :S There are of course more room for changes, besides It's very close to bedtime and my hearing might be of right now. Let's see what I can do with it tomorrow.

I am having big time issues with the vocals. Regardless of bpm of the track and time stretching they are just not working, in fact way off. I mean physically not working not creative wise. Also, why are there 2 copies each of identical audio files?
I have the whole track done just need to get the vocals thrown in but it is currently giving me ing fits!
Im using Ableton 7. Anyone have any ideas as to what's going on? |

Which version did you download? The original remix pack (see the first post in this thread) contains the original vocals and a README.txt that has the tempo (137bpm IIRC?) for the vocal tracks included in the remix pack. I also made a 128bpm version of the vocal track. You just need to set the tempo for the appropriate version of the vocal track and make sure that the vocal clip begins at the beginning of a measure and it should be in sync. |
