WTF is up with Africa?

| The Middle East looks like paradise compared to the coming out of Africa. Why can't they just get their act together? Why do we always have to send humanitarian aide? Is that what they want to be? Beggars to the world? That's what they look like. Beggars. Look at Congo. They have so many resources but their government can't even control the damn country. They could be the next Dubai with all the damn resources they have. But instead, their own army rapes and pillages its own people. |

Maybe its because they are still tribal cultures for the most part and that any sense of western government and culture was forced upon them via colonialism and it never really stuck? |
