A 3.7 GPA in high school doesn't really mean a whole lot to be honest. Sure, it means he's a smart kid, but you can get a 3.7 in high school without any problems, even if you are a troublemaker stoner :p

um ok last time i checked a 3.7 GPA will get you into a decent college, provided you are involved in extra cirricular activities. that's something lol in fact, it goes against all that is believed about pot smokers. that you'll amount to nothing if you smoke it. |

I agree with you completely, but that wasn't my point. A 3.7 GPA is good for a college, and goes against the dumbass stoner stereotype, but an arrest related to drug charges won't help his record. That's all I was trying to say :) |

everyone's different
my uncle smokes pot every day of his life and he is the most non-lazy person i've ever met. he lives on a boat in the carribbean and works as a carpenter on other boats and he's up at 7 a.m. every morning smoking his joint and having coffee and heading to work or working on his own boat.
granted, he's not a scholar or anything, but i'm just trying to prove my point that not everyone turns into a lazy slob from chronic pot smoking. |

| Underachiever. I graduated with 4.12 (or 4.13, or 4.14 i can't remember) because I didn't smoke pot until after high school. tsk tsk tsk. No you can't get a 4.0 when you smoke pot, drink, ditch school, steal cars, jaywalk, have a kid, or have premarital sex. |
