Hi there,
strange remix contest! Now I have to vote for Track #11 because Track #1 can't be serious.
Track #9 is also really good! God jobs guys (beside track #1) |

| Look guys, there's no need to burn a certain remix to the ground. Everybody did their best, have a little respect for that! |

Just back from hols and have had a listen to them all.
I've voted on account of originality.
But some are pretty good. |

ok, sorry!
the first remix is ok, for someone who has just begun producing. he should work hard on himself, then i'm sure that his music will sound good in future! But that this remix gets so many votes, can't be serious. That is what i wanted to say! |

Loved the breakdown in 9, job well done. It probably doesn't get much love since the rest of the track is more on the house/progressive side. |

The people who are bashing other songs seem to be the ones who think everybody should like what they like, and those who don't have no idea what music really is.
Please grow up, but I guess you can't ask for much from a community this big, retards are bound to get in . |

I guess you are blind or illiterate or both?!
Pretty much everyone has said they are NOT bashing the songs but relaying "issues" with the voting system. The only way to get across the issues with the voting system is by measurable production skill levels of the tracks. #1 is one of the 3 lowest out of the 12 remixes production wise yet has a LARGE % of the votes. Being as though this forum is for producers, it doesn't really make sense that a bunch of producers (many of whom are active ones produce a lot and have for a long time) would vote for a track of such low production quality.
It is not a knock on the person who made the track at all. How could we knock that persons effort especially not knowing how long they've been producing etc. Open your mind come on man, it's fairly easy to see. Stop playing ing devils advocate. |

What kind of issues are you talking about? People voting for a track which is not nearly as good as the others... how is that anyones' fault? how's that an irregularity/issue? explain... :wtf:

Pretty ignorant comment... rofl -forum is for producers, hence only producers ... can... should... do... vote? ... rolf /sad
As far as I know the poll is open for everyone in TA. Correct me if I'm wrong!
"A voting system (poll) (also referred to as an electoral system) allows voters to choose between options, often in an election where candidates are selected. Voting can be also used to award prizes, to select between different plans of action, or by a computer program to find a solution to a problem."

Numbers 7, 9, 10, and 11, if I were DJ'ing, I'd be happy to have all of these in my bag.
6 deserves an honorable mention for trying some glitchy audio destruction, that I thought was a bit harsh in the mix.
7 gets the best kick award. Subtle or Mr. Mystery, did you make this? ;) It's a very nice, very deep mix with lots of space.
8 starts off with some nice rhythmic energy and progression. Nice work, fading the pitch instruments in, but a bit to staccato for my tastes.
9 takes a close second for best kick. I like the noise and percussion, along with the proggy feel. Like the arrangement in this, plus the use of sound FX. It kind of has some weird rhythmic glitches. The only thing holding this back is the mix - and that's not even that bad, but it's in close competition with number 7. Here's Mr. Mystery's - the tell-tale break beat!
10 G-Con or Az? Very rhythmically based and deep, proggy/techy sort of tribal stuff. As rhythmically based as it is, it also makes great use of the melody line. Close contention with 7 and 9.
11 Best Old-Skool (in a good way) trance sound. That bass-lead cooks. Sounds like ATB made the (non-bass) lead, sort of. This also has a nice mix.
12 Best spookiest beginning and best use of a High Pass Filter Sweep to introduce melodic elements.
Generally speaking, this is a good showing for pretty much everyone. All of you did your best to make sure that I would have a hard time picking my favorites, let alone the winner of my vote. |
