Thanks Bam, glad you liked it! Sent you a PM with the tracklist :)

Really great job, Oscar... LOVED how it started with some nice smooth funky house vibes, loved the inclusion of Hazel. The ending was a bit of an unexpected shift in style for both you and the mix, and had some nice stuff in there too. I'll have to listen to this more, tbh I only listened for a bit yesterday morning so it's not exactly fresh on my mind... Lucas' set was really good as well, I actually got to hear a bit of that live.

Thanks dude, I'm very happy with how the mix turned out. I really wanted to include as much variety as I could, showcasing my different tastes in music but also keeping the shifts in direction coherent. I definitely took a lot of risks, specially at the second half which was very much " it, we'll do it live". :)

Thanks!

Not really did anything with the bass, except that during the conversion from wav to 320 mp3 I removed all the frequencies below 10Hz...but I think that should have the opposite effect :p

Other than that, the track before Hazel had some really prominent lows. Those mixes were really hard to EQ :wtf:

Thank god I finally got a decent set of cans today. I landed a pretty sweet deal for a set of brand new 7506's for $58 :gsmile:

Those are the cans I use. They're fantastic. Been abusing my original pair almost on the daily for roughly 2 years. Best headphones <$100 bar-none.

EDIT: Unless the HD-25's are under $100 then there's a contender.

They're $199 in Amazon. Really awesome looking, great sound quality, light, etc. but more than triple than what I paid for the 7506 :(

BTW, did you get the Beyerdinamic pads? If so...where did you get them? I can't find them anywhere outside of Europe which means shipping is expensive as hell :wtf:

No, I'm running with the stock pads. They're more than comfortable enough for me. Honestly, I haven't really even looked into the beyerdinamic pads so I couldn't tell you where to get 'em.

PM Tony Morello about where to get them, he seems to know the most about the 7506's + accessories on this site.
