Just listened today going to and from work. Liked it quite a bit. I thought the deep and dark drive/flow made it a very moody yet energetic set. It was hypnotizing yet bumpin' at the same time :p Look forward to more episodes.

Thanks Poison! That's an awesome description, glad you liked it :p

Next episode will be hosted by Chris May (cmay119) and he will have Marcus Klay as a guest. I'll be back for the August show.

By far my favorite mix from you Oscar. Most of the tracks are familiar but they were put together really well. Didn't know the first track though, and that is a superb opener. Really set an amazing tone for the rest to come.

Only words of critique would be tracks being too familiar, and ending it with Uppershelf, which is IMO used much better as a builder. Understandable seeing you were pressed on time though...

My Girl into Hazel was wonderful.

Thanks for the comments Alex, much appreciated :)

'My Girl' can be a bit too repetitive if played in its entirety, but if you mix out of it after the first break, it works great as a tool. EQ'ing it is a motherfucker though, since the bass is way too loud and prominent. And it does work very well together with 'Hazel' :p
Domesticated
I listened to this last night, though I had another passenger in the car and was distracted. I really liked it though; this kind of stuff is the musical equivalent of a good black jacket or jeans in that it will never really go out of style or seem passe.

I will put up a detailed review before the weekend.

Great work guys!!!

 :eyes: :eyespop:

This two mixes are awesome!

Domesticated
I'm quite into this style of music and listen to it a lot when I go out, but I don't really buy and own it, because I concentrate more on other stuff. Thus I didn't know any of the tracks.

As I said previously, this music will always be cool. Your track selection was impeccable; all the tracks had a nice quirk or hook without being gimmicky. I particularly liked the one with the faint female vocals and the other one with the heavy, organic piano with very artificial bleeps.

The mixing was awesome, and yet in the past you have not seemed confident. You're certainly not a one-trick pony; some of the transitions were quick and obvious, while others were slower and subtle. I think it's great that you know when to use which. Your flow was also excellent; I thought the opening track set the mood perfectly.

On the last track, when the first hint of melody came in, I was like "holy , this is awesome!" However, by the end I was sick of the overly repetitive percussion and the melody with little variation. That track has huge potential, I would love to hear a good remix.
