My half-sister really liked these musics, and she's not into EDM at all, excluding a few vocal house-tracks.

Well ing done Woscar, now I can start teaching her some manners. :)

Probably, but that's one of the risks I mentioned before :p

I suppose I'll venture here for a bit.

Don't fail me now, house.

Thanks! It's a diverse set with different styles of House condensed in an hour, so probably you'd find something you like :)

Awesome :)

Any favorites? I'm guessing she really dug Hazel :p
DuBam
Yep. I haven't met anyone who wouldn't like Hazel :p

I know that she really liked the intro, especially that string sample that it has. I hyped Jauce so much that I probably left her under the impression that it's best goddamn track that's ever been played, ever!
Sushipunk
Yeah seriously, nice work Oscar. I really enjoyed this :)

Just put on the second one now.

Yeah, it really is a great track. So much groove and soul to it.

:stongue:

Jauce is one of my favorites too...it slipped under the radar when it was released and I don't know why. I can't believe everyone wasn't hammering it :p

Thanks Stu!

Two mixes coming up in August and another one in September :)

i hope you were being sarcastic about jauce:p

LOL, that track came out right about at the time I first began listening to the techier stuff and checking out labels like Mobilee, Cécille, etc and it was all fresh and new to me. Never heard it in any sets except for an Ewan Pearson set around March. If everyone and their mothers hammered it before, then I was completely clueless :p
Ted Promo
Just listened. I kinda had it on in the background, but it was good grooving music. I remember liking the track about 35 minutes in with the weird cut up vocals, and I thought the mix into the next track was pretty boss. The bassline matched well and brought the tempo up suitably.

I'll have to agree with whoever it was that stated that the ending wasn't all that great. It felt like a sudden jump into techno with nothing to back it up. But it can really be hard to do a mix in a certain amount of time, especially if you're doing it on the fly. Even moreso if you've just gotten a ton of tracks and want to play 'em all.

Other than that the mixing was spot on.

Good mix overall.

Thanks Adam, that was the transition from "Love Never Sleeps" into "Anything You Want" :)

I guess I did get a little carried away and caught up in the moment there at the end as if I had another 2 hours to go. :p

Very nice set Oscar. Great little collection spanning a wide variety of sounds, love hearing stuff like that. Your programming and technical skills just continue to improve with each mix I listen to and that can only be a good thing.

Hoping to get a bit more active in this forum, and I think listening to this might have pushed me back into mixing and such a bit more consistently (I've been on semi hiatus for some reason, frustration maybe :p).

woscar
Thanks dude, this is one of the coolest comments anyone can get :gsmile:

Definitely get back into it, I've heard your sets and there is huge potential there (even if your tracklists aren't 1337 and underground enough for techno experts like wotyzoid :p).

Yo, what the fack, man. I thought we were past that.
