Central banking and free markets don't even go hand in hand with our society today. The fact that you believe these two go hand in hand tells everyone your ignorance to what a free market really is. |
we don't have truly free markets. people how say we have free markets don't fully understand our system. |

I would just like to state as per ********, the federal reserve is a private company. He is 100% correct.
If it was not a separate entity which is what the sheep believe in then how exactly does buying money from within the same government revive the economy? Sheep answer this please.
The FED is a separate entity, they buy US Treasury bills by creating fake credit in their banks and exchange it for real money. They then everyone by charging interest on the money they stole in the first place and fudge the numbers showing less profits otherwise they get taxed because they are a private company.
The FED only exists to remove wealth from the economy.
It is a ING SCAM. |

I'm asking for your opinion. You telling us that you can't think for yourself?
So, why do think think California is in the shape that it is in, financially, today? |
california is in the shape it is today because it contributes more money to the federal government, per capita, than it receives in federal benefits (i.e., for every dollar of federal taxes paid by a californian, the state receives less than a dollar in return, meanwhile, most red states receive more than a dollar in return). I posted a pretty large post about this on another thread so if you're really interested you could easily search the related threads. |

Come on man, you cannot post real facts like that in here. The sheep want to continue sleeping.
LOL
Awesome post by the way, breaks it down rather nicely.

So then we can both agree that it is monetary policy that has brought this state down? |

i'm a free market guy too, but do you see any harm in allowing unregulated free market activity? there are certainly bad aspects of total free markets. Mainly, the limited access to information by consumers and users of products. So long as one party has more information (or more relevant information) than the counter party, there will be manipulation and free market system will not fully work. As to monetary policy, my view (and the view of almost everyone) is that central banks are necessary because we need stability in monetary policy. In a truly free market system, the value of money would be wildly volatile. That's simply unacceptable for monetary policy. |

absolutely not. california is in it's situation because it gives more than it takes (or more accurately stated, it contributes more than it is given). that's not monetary policy, that's strictly politics. |
