Anyone hear about this?

The garbage strike will be ty, but I think the LCBO strike might cause an uprising in Ontario, lol.

I heard about this awhile ago. I was also told that there would be one LCBO open in the city though. That was in Windsor, so I'm assuming there'd be one open in Toronto.

Buy some at duty free on your way in. You're allowed since you're staying more than 24 hours. Buy a 60 (or a texas mickey! lol). Even if they make you pay duty, it'll be worth it.

Unlike the city workers, the lcbo union demands are somewhat understandable. Apparently 60-70% of the workers are currently part time. I'd understand the need to have maybe 25-30% PT for holidays and seasonal hirings but 70% seems like the LCBO are trying to avoid paying benefits.
