I'm talking about Hip House :D

Check out DJ International's back catalog, stuff by Tyree Cooper, Fast Eddie, 2 In A Room, Kool Rock Steady, even some old Queen Latifah. It is literally a house track with someone rapping over it. Think early 90s late 80s good time house party rap, not the garbage that people call rap today that's all sad and depressing and/or about no one cares about.

2 of those will do great thanks bro. but the second to last one is just as bad as modern hip hop, its that angry dude "im number one" type lyrics i cant stand.

im gonna guess that the type of records your crowd wants isn't even old school hip hop, but the new . so your best bet is remixes of that. it sucks, as someone else here pointed out, but its better than nothing.

ugh. i hate beef. i was always more into digable planets, tribe, and i forgot all about it but those fast booty tracks. i dont know the name of the genre for them but they usually have some black guy yelling "heeeeyyyy look at that booty!" and "drop it to the floor! now bring it back, yea i like it like that!" and its all a bunch of yelling n . one record i bought from a pawn shop the guy is yelling the whole time and the main hook is "show me the money!"
