Dakota - Sin City (Cosmic Gate Remix) exists :)

You should listen to more Markus Schulz buddy.

Nic told me that he wished they hadn't changed it, like he already knew what to expect in going from Thursday to Wednesday.

He seemed ok with it, and said he loved Atlanta and had a great time.

Bossi, on the other hand, seemed a tad bit more visibly frustrated.

Sorry mate, my mistake. Was just going off the mislabel that was floating around for a while before ASOT 2009 was released and people thought that the other toon was their remix of Sin City.

Cheers - listening now.

I'm guessing it wasn't played though.
mistiso
After taking a listen, I truly believe it WAS played (their Sin City remix, that is).

Now, I also think that Riva tune was dropped, but the other toon I'm thinking of in regards to Wippenberg was so obvious - re: Need to Feel sound.
trancension
I don't think I've heard anything up there on Needs To Feel (Wippenberg Remix), in a long time.

If this ID is that epic, I need to hear.

First off, I will say that I decided to make the last-minute, "game time" decision to go to the show while I was on the road at 9:00 AM this morning to Montgomery, AL for work ;)

Left Montgomery around 5:30 ET and went straight home, got ready, picked up my girlfriend, and we were on our way. I will say that I've NEVER been happier about making a decision to go to a show because it was the most fun I'd had going out in a long, long, long, long time :)

(Still doesn't offset the fact of the show being moved to a god damned Wednesday).

Anyhow, good crowd. Perfect size for dancing your ass off anywhere you wanted and better than I was thinking for a Wednesday. I actually talked to Nic at one point and he said that "hopefully, they can come back again on a Thursday when there's more people." I think that's what they were pissed about (slightly) because they most likely had to change other dates too and it was a hassle. A lot of other factors involved too as Calamar said (touche). But the people there were the ones that were there solely to see Cosmic Gate.

While I wish it could have been Thursday as more of my friends would have been able to make it, I will still go on record as saying that the 7 years was worth the wait. Tons of excitement and excellent tracks & mixing, not to mention seeing my girlfriend have the best time of her life and experience her first real DJ event ;)

Hadn't seen Jack in about 2 years so that in and of itself made my night (and seeing Jen too, of course) :)

Utilized Facebook to keep track of ID's. Maybe it's time to look into Twitter? ;)

In order:

01. ID (Beautiful vocals, mellow beat, *maybe* a CG tune)
02. Audible - White Mouse
03. Cosmic Gate ft. Kyler England - Flatline (Kyau & Albert Remix)
04. Dash Berlin ft. Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren - Man on the Run (Nic Chagall Remix) This made my mo fucckin' night! :)
05. M6 - Paradise Lost
06. Cosmic Gate ft. Emma Hewitt - Not Enough Time (Club Mix)
07. Fabio XB & Ronnie Play ft. Gabriel Cage - Inside of You (Cosmic Gate Remix) Another BOMB ch00n! :)
08. Rank 1 - Symfo (Official Sunrise Festival 2009 Anthem)
09. ID
10. Nic Chagall ft. Jonathan Mendelsohn - This Moment (Prog Mix)
11. Armin Van Buuren ft. Cathy Burton vs. Cosmic Gate - F.A.V. Rain
12. Ferry Corsten ft. Betsy Larkin - Made of Love (Original Mix)
13. ID
14. John O'Callaghan feat. Sarah Howells - Find Yourself (Cosmic Gate Remix)
15. Cosmic Gate - Sign of the Times (Markus Schulz Remix)
16. Nic Chagall - What You Need (Marco V Remix)
17. Terry Ferminal vs. Jonas Stenberg - A Thousand Miles Memories (Gareth Emery Edit)
18. ID (Definitely a Wippenberg tune)
19. Tiesto ft. Jes - Everything (Cosmic Gate Remix)
20. ID (New remix, Jan Johnston vocals?)

If anyone can help me with the ID's, that'd be great. Trying to piece some together. Would like to have a full set list since I'm so close :)

Perhaps it was just me wanting to see this show SO badly that made it one of the best (I think) ever over-all at Opera. Just think it was poorly executed. I bought a $10 VIP band, only to get up there and they tell me that the sections by the DJ booth was closed due to lack of people. Way to f'n GO Opera!

Hope they come back again relatively soon. I think with better planning (maybe a Liquified event?) it could be one of the best show's Atlanta's ever seen :)

20 was BT - Remember (dunno which remix though) =)

Glad to have met you calamar. Man last night was ing epic!

Thanks for the tracklisting I would never have been able to remember all those in order.

Thanks for the insights. This makes sense, as Bossi didn't seem nearly as energetic as Nic (but I haven't seen 'em before, so maybe they're always like that).

trancension, instantly ID'ing tracks at a show you didn't attend? That's just impressive, man.

On the #18 ID, at first I actually thought it was a mashup of Needs to Feel (Wippenberg Remix) when I heard that recognizable bassline, so I agree.

Xevious -- likewise, it was fun meeting you and your crew! Hope everyone enjoyed the show despite the sparse crowd.

... Still waiting on that story from Seppuku. I don't remember seeing anyone forcible ejected. Hopefully it didn't happen until after all the best tracks.
PVDfan07
Sounds like I missed a good show. The tracklist looks nice. That's sad the guys were noticably frustrated at the sparse crowd. That's how I like it, but I also like to see djs having a good time. I understand the frustration, but they should act the same no matter how many people show up. Just taking off like that doesn't seem cool.

Calamar
True. The audience was really happy to be there, at least. Rowdy chicks in pajamas, a muppet raver, and an out-of-sync air traffic controller with glowsticks seized the off-limits stage in unbridled excitement. Some dudes badly serenaded Cosmic Gate in harmony with the opening strings ("Cosmiiiiiic Gate! Cosmic Gaaaaaaaate ..."). Even the Physics Professor of Dance graced us with his performance later in the night. If I were Nic or Bossi, I wouldn't have left such excellent company any earlier than 3:00am.

What can I say? My one talent in life is identifying songs and movies with little to go off of :) And those two tracks are massive tracks that I would expect Nic/CG to drop.

Ya...I'm glad Nic at least appeared to have a good time...no offense to Bossi, but Nic is the ing man. Wednesdays are just bad...bad bad bad. I feel sorry for Acosta next week.

Markus Schulz
Gareth Emery
Nic Chagall
Wippenberg
George Acosta

Best DJs in the scene at the moment. We're getting 3 of them (basically) in a 3 month span basically. Nice scheduling/booking.
