You can't seem to keep your story straight, can you? On the one hand you deny that the "music" is nothing more than a 6-year-old's magazine collage, claiming that when you "mix and add elements" it somehow becomes your music and that house music producers did the same thing with disco. And then on the next post you say you're not a producer so therefore you don't need to worry about things like copyright law or how the industry works or how to actually, you know, write original material.
I think the expression for that is "wanting to have your cake and eat it too". Either you're trying to be a producer, in which case you're terrible at it and need to realize the reality that you actually can't accomplish anything you want with effort alone, or you're a collector making incondite "Summer '88" mix tapes and therefore have no business trying to promote yourself to DJs, even radio DJs, because what you're giving them is a copyright violation and NOT original work.

No, you're trying to promote your crappy mixes, or maybe you're just trying to get attention, it's hard to say. Either way, nobody's going to congratulate you for it, and it's also technically against forum rules.

Whetaher its House Trance Hip Hop RNB Dancehall Funk Club Breakbeat etc they all sampled music
When You add elemnts in music that relate to yourself the music become part of you

There are no laws when it comes to music only laws to make money off music

I try to put effort in everything I do
Sometimes it turns out good sometimes bad but i always try
As well Thats a big compliment summer of 88 was a influential year

Wrong again. Copyright laws govern the distribution of music, including radio broadcasts. It's just as illegal to plagiarize and distribute for free than it is to plagiarize and sell.

These Big threads have really had nothing to do with my music
I dont think I have posted music I made on here since last year
Ive never made any excuses or argued with you
Your the ones who have argued with me put me down & kept blabbering about what i do
I have nothing but kind things to say about you all & i respect all of you as people and as fans of music

I still think you should post the track in a separate thread.
there are a lot of hip hop fans on TA and you will receive plenty of feedback.
EDM djs will not play it and even hip hop fans here probably don't go to many hip hop clubs...so unless you post it here, TAs will likely not hear it. |
