meh, the multi million dollar deal was never really confirmed by Dana or the UFC.
M-1 declared it false.
so... who knows exactly what the UFC was offering.

Fedor's contract with M-1 is only valid for three more fights and it seems that he's very loyal to his contracts, that might be the only reason why it isn't going down now. I think there is the possibility that Dana is gonna step up with a new offer after all this stuff clears up.
squirrelly
If Brock was a coach on the Ultimate Fighter, I woudldn't watch that season. End of story. I ing hate that guy.
//edit
or more likely, I'd fast forward through everything that douche said :p
Renzo
Fedor is a stand-up guy and his humility is important to this sport. It's a sad day in MMA when arguably the best fighter in the world is not fighting here because of contractual disputes.
:(

Dana White is douche for throwing it all on Fedor IMO when he knows he has a contract to follow and M-1 is making all the decisions. I also hope to see him knock Lesnar out and I'm thinking it will happen as soon as these 3 fights are done.

Well he'd better knock him out. Because if Brock wraps his arms around him before getting knocked unconcious, that fight's going to the ground, and then Fedor will look the same as everyone else who's fought Lesnar.
Hopelessly outsized, taking huge fists to the face.
Whether Brock 'deserves' his title or not. He's lost one fight due to inexperience and, lets face it, pure unadulterated luck. He had a tough match against Couture (I say if that fight went one more round, Lesnar was losing), and has otherwise dominated his opponents.
His wrestling skills are a huge asset, to go along with his giant frame, that's only complimented by his incredible speed for a guy his size.
If he fights Fedor, I'm not convinced it'll be the Ass-kicking so many Lensar haters think it'll be. It will rely entirely on whether or not Lesnar can take a punch, and whether or not Fedor can land a few good ones before Lesnar's lying on top of him punching his arm through his forehead.

it seems to me that lesnar got tapped his first fight when he took it to the ground;)

Have you actually watched that fight? Brock was STANDING, Mir was on his knees (in the middle of having his ass handed to him) and blindly dove for Lesnar's leg. It was a rookie mistake by Brock, and and a lucky dive by Mir.
That's not the type of thing that'll happen twice.

Hmm? Brock couldn't hold down Randy, and had to ride Heath Herring to a boring decision even though Herring basically just sat there and did nothing.
I wouldn't count Lesnar out, but he still has a lot to prove. He did beat up Frank Mir pretty badly in the second fight, but in so doing he didn't do anything that Brandon Vera, Marcio Cruz, and Ian Freeman hadn't already done faster and more efficiently, and no one thinks that they are top tier heavyweights. It will take more than that to convince me that he's a serious danger to Fedor on the ground.

Agreed, and it's never been my position that Lesnar WILL win. Just that many of the haters think it'll be an ass-wuppin', and I'm not convinced that'll be the case.
Couture was on pace to win his fight against Lesnar, and that WAS largely due to the fact Lesnar couldn't hold him down. Couture is also much beefier than Fedor, so it would be interesting to see if he could worm his way out from beneath him. In Lesnar's last fight against Mir, it looked as though he's gotten better at being patient and keeping his weight down.
Against Heath Herring he was still runnin wild with those sissy-girl, 17 punches in half-a-second flurries. Which owed much to the fight lasting til the end. In his last fight against Mir, he seemed to have stopped with the flurries, and started throwing much more powerful, and accurate punches.
In other words, he's improving in leaps and bounds so far, and by the time he fights Fedor (if ever), he could very well be the fighter who takes him out.
Inertia
ehh, while not the wrestler Lesnar is, HMC is 50 pounds heavier than Lesnar.
and at 310 pounds with a major background in striking, i'd say a harder puncher.
and even tho he did mess Fedor's face up a bit, he wasn't really smothering him based on size. Fedor's takedown attempts did end with him on the bottom, but he was able to work his guard damn well. this would leave me to believe, much in the way he couldn't Couture, Lesnar wouldn't really hold Fedor down.
Fedor hits like a ton of bricks. while Lesnar is a wall of beef, he's yet to prove he's a worthwhile striker, from anything other than flapping his giant cartoon arms. so... i don't exactly see him dominating Fedor like he has others.
let's not forget, Fedor is to sambo more than Lesnar is to wrestling. and sambo guys punch.
