| Brilliant. 1 and 2 are the best examples of why Anderson is so great. He doesn't just back away and block. He flies around (keeping his body centered so he can't be taken down, unlike when you back away and block) and then is in perfect position to do exactly what he did -- throw a deadly punch. |

| Anderson Silva has given me reason to start following MMA. I normally don't follow UFC, but I was at some bar that was showing it and got to see bits and pieces of it. Was extremely impressed with his toying and eventual knockdown of Forrest Griffin. |

watching him was what got me into it. the wild swinging & street brawls don't interest me (part of why I couldn't care less about the heavyweights), but seeing guys like that who have really worked at developing those skills are fun to watch. after all, sports are about watching the best of the best compete at total mastery of a craft. that's what he's done. |
