Bush wasn't great, but he wasn't as horrible as people think.

Yes he was, and you'd have to be incredibly naive to think he was a perfectly okay guy who just made a few mistakes.

This was a product of a "tax and spend liberal", one you may know as Bill ing Clinton.

until the inception of the Democrat controlled congress. Incidentally, their approval numbers are worse than his.

Do I agree with everything the Democrats do? Of course not, they have plenty of worthless government programs. Do they have good intentions, spending money on programs that will help make life a little easier for Americans? Yes. I don't see how government programs that help improve education, health care, infrastructure, and the energy sector are some sort of ing catastrophe.

lol @ Jay for assuming I am a Palin supporter.

You supported the ticket over Obama/Biden, so you supported her in turn.

And I don't believe all Democrats are evil either, just the far left wing who has hijacked the party.

You truly subscribe to the notion of "evil"?

Putting words in my mouth. I never said he was perfectly ok and just made a few mistakes.

haha... it's amazing that when a Republican is president you credit his success to his predecessor, and when a Democrat is president you attribute his failures also to his predecessor. BTW- Bill was forced into the role of moderate once the GOP took control of Congress and the House in '94. He tried twice to veto welfare reform until his advisor Dick Morris told him at the time that if he didn't go along with it, he would lose his bid for re-election. So, beleive me, he didn't achieve what he really wanted; that's being attempted now.

This is the problem- because there are perceived "good intentions" in liberal social welfare programs, we are supposed to give them a pass when the unintended consequences of liberal policies end up creating a mess.

But go ahead being convinced that government programs are helping improve education. Tell that to the kids in D.C. who just had their private school vouchers yanked off the table by Obama. And how are liberal policies improving the energy sector right now? I'd like to know.

I didn't vote.... because I couldn't bring myself to compromise my conservative values for a man who prides himself in trying to be more like a Democrat.
