Darude...really?
I was hoping ruby would let 1015 do the trance deal and bring more of a house act...oh well. The Mission Rock (Santiago and Bushido) or Listed party is looking pretty good to me right now. |

My guess is that Ruby is handling ATB that night. ME just gets put on there by default. |

well ya they do bookings in-house now, but since when was ruby so sprung on trance that they would just ignore all house acts on such a big weekend. weird, but it will be interesting to see what they do for thursday night...

What's stopping 1015 from doing it? There's been multiple trance acts in the city before.
Why would any promoter or club hold back on their bookings?
That said, Darude last time at Ruby was INNNSANE! Might be his best SF party to date...or maybe tied with the first time I saw him at 1015 (which was the second time I ever saw him). It was one of those nights where the crowd was just really into it and insane and even when Darude wasn't perfect no one cared enough to even really notice. It was much better than the first time he played at Ruby, that's for sure! And that night was real good on its own! |

what's more crazy is that ATB originally appear to be on the LOCAl LOVE float, which is produced by TAJ meaning that ATB would be playing at 1015...
Interested to see what TAJ has in stored for us.. |

Darude is awesome live. I have always been very outspoken about that.
I have not been let down by one of his sets. And I think he's def starting to get a little following in SF. You can see his crowds getting roudier over time ...and bigger. Nice nice turnout last time he was in SF (in March). It was crazy. He usually holds up signs and all to thank the fans during his set, but he wanted to speak the crowd so I had to get someone to find a mic to hookup....think he was having a lot of fun! :) |
