he basically is the prototypical "sports child" parent who has to get involved with everything his child is doing in the sport. The only thing that terribly wrong with it is that it is very obnoxious. Try sitting in the stands one day at a little types sports game with all the fantatic parents sitting in the stands.

that i question also. out of the williams sisters, i find her way nicer than serena. i think the problem with her is that she has a imaginary association we tend to link with her sister serena and dad richard. |

yeah the call was legitimate. i just think serena blew up like that, because the umps have been calling foot faults on both venus and serena consistently, and that last foot fault was the straw that broke the camel's back. |

I watched an interview with him where he was saying that once he realized how much female tennis players can make, he set his plan in motion. He wasn't even planning on having any more kids, but talked his wife into having 2 more specifically to make them into "programmed from birth" tennis players in hopes of getting rich. I mean, that's some diabolical if you ask me- having 2 more kids only because you want to make them rich to benefit yourself? Kudos to that guy for being a master planner though. That takes a lot of balls and methodical patience to achieve such a goal.
Oh, and I hate him because he always wants to play the victim. He said this a couple years ago:
| quote: | | Well, I’m black and I’m prejudiced, very prejudiced. People are prejudiced in tennis. I don’t think Venus or Serena was ever accepted by tennis. They never will be. But if you get some little white no-good trasher in America like Tracy Austin or Chris Evert, who cannot hit the ball, they (the media) will claim this is great. |
quite the contrary.... Venus and Serena have thrived, been accepted by tennis, and become rich and famous DESPITE their father's classless race baiting. |

I'm really happy for Clijsters , but Serena had one of the best threats of all time.
