| funny - i was listening to the oudin post-match on court interview while i was heading out to a court assignment. it was so refreshing to hear the enthusiasm and pure shock in her voice. she was genuinely awed and thrilled to have taken down some top players. it was kinda cute actually. :o |

the clijsters-williams match has got to be one of the most confusing matches i have seen in the past couple of years. each player dropping donuts the first 2 sets is just a headscratcher to me. congrats to clijsters. she looks like the best candidate to take down serena.
nadal looked a lot better compared to 2 days ago. |

i thought it was a pretty poor match. venus blew all sorts of easy volleys that could have put the third set away. there weren't many winners hit at all. it seemed like the best strategy was to wait for the other person to screw up. |
