The deadly sin of salad is store-bought dressing.. ing disgusting... apart from Japanese shiso dressing, just because fresh shiso leaves can be hard to find.
I usually like fairly simple fresh salads with fresh vegies.. it's all about the balance of textures/flavours. Like the proportion of juicy and crunchy vegetables to leaves etc.. it's also about the way you cut them.
I'll take a photo next time I toss a salad and post it here.
