Ableton is just a bad DAW. Its a toy, like that daw by sony, I think its called Sony eJay [probably Dejay, and I misheard the title] or something. Its on the ps2 or ps3.

Funny i think the same thing about FL!

The only other program comparable to FL is Pro-Tools. And that is only because of repuation, not functionality. Pro-Tools didn't even have VSTi support last time I gave a . Ableton is unverally known to have bad sound quality, and yes, it is the program, not the users, google it.

The only people who don't like FL, are people who want stuff to still function like the old school way things used to function in those real studios people used to use [aka, people stuck in the past, not willing to update their work flow...I don't blame them]. Or people who downloaded Cubase, Ableton, Logic, Reason and Fl [to "try" them all]..and hate FL because it doesn't look professional. Or 3rd, they simply heard someone else bash FL. And they joined the bandwagon.

The only thing worse than someone overacting.

Is someone telling another person to stop overeacting, when no one overeacted in the first place.

Because Pro-Tools is the only relevent DAW that competes with FL. You might be able to mention Logic or Cubase...but, lol. Logic is on Mac, and Cubase lost 90% of its userbase at version 4. Can't think of any other DAW worth mentioning tbh.

holy crap, robbyrox and 604 in the same thread... worlds of retardation colliding...

It will be interesting to see whether there could be like a double negative of stupidity whereby this thread could actually create something useful...

just for the record; just because you don't understand something doesn't mean it doesn't make sense. it means YOU can't understand.

Well I use what ever works hard or soft and make 4 or 8 bar loops and throw them to any daw i want! Reaper is my main Daw i like Protools for audio editing and i like Live because i can make a song fast with my loops! Thats how i work i dont know why i am telling u this i had a few beers!

Acid makes it sound very mono while Ableton makes it sound wishy washy. The same patches sound perfect in Samplitude & Tracktion as its supposed to sound when i initially made the patch in reason. I know this can be fixed with eq-ing again in the host. But why go through twice the amount of work?

Could be the warping system was interfering or you misunderstood how to use ableton. I've got very good quality out of ableton with both audio files and midi.
