Please torrent FL Studio..

I told imageline on their forums I will be torrenting their version 9 since they don't want to help me or other people having the same problem out.

I really am pissed about this.
Someone please tell me I'm crazy cause this is whats logical to me.

I can still download the FL 8.02 installer and install and uninstall that version fine.
So if image line released FL 9, and I go to download and install it, and it DOES NOT install and I keep getting an "application error", would that not mean the problem is with IMAGELINE and that the files are just not working?

One of the MAIN reasons you pay for software is for tech support, and I'm not even getting that. It would be one thing if they said "we're working on it please give us another day or 2". But they basically asked a rehearsed line of questions, I answered them all, and they just completely stopped responding.

I love how people raise the argument "well software engineers need to feed their families too?"

oh really?
Well how bout they fvckn try working for their money first..

Sounds like your problem. Try reinstalling the OS? FL9 Installed just fine for me. And Ive used FL on windows and linux...

FL is likely the most torrented audio DAW there is. And it has been since it was called Fruity Loops... They don't really care. FL is desgined and developed by 2 guys. And a couple more do the artwork and presets in their free time. They don't have a big company of people they have to pay and all this other nonsense. So their actions are hardly suprising. The leader is known to be a douche. Torrenting isn't going to hurt them much. They have had years to fix it, yet they still use the same .reg file system to validate the program.

Give it a few weeks & there will be cracked version of it on torrent sites.
Presonus Studio One was cracked within a short period of time after its release. I tried it out & didn't like it. The piano roll feels really awkward & when reason is rewired to it, the automation is all step & not linear or curve.

I gave Tracktion 3 a try and watched the tutorial vidoes. So far, I really like it except a few odd things. But there are more goodies in it than anythng to really turn me off.

1) Click 'run' type 'msconfig' and see if there is something conflicting with the program.

2) Clear your registry.

3) Try reformatting your computer.

If none of these work, either revert back to FL studio 8 or get a new hard-drive and install a fresh copy of your OS & programs there.

Did u try 3?

BTW

Move on to a new DAW!

FL9 was in the torrents 4 hours after it was released. Lol. If any program takes more than a day..then something is wrong.

Im sure Imagine Line is going to be pissed if you torrent a program that you have already paid to use for life.

Oh and btw, reformatting fixes everything, always. ;)
