I already tried that and it's unbelievably expensive. I'd end up paying almost 4 times of the actual cost of the beer :wtf:
Like I said, local legislation and taxes on beer are ridiculous. They are basically designed so that the local brewery (owned by one of the richest families in the country) doesn't lose any ground.
You should have seen the cluster that emerged when Ambev decided to get into the Central American market and opened up a bottling plant in Guatemala. The local brewery played really ing dirty and registered the "Brahma" name in the patents office before they did and therefore they can't sell it with that name here. It's called "Brahva" instead.

Yes! Indeed it is. We get that one because it's one of the brands that Ambev distributes. |

i'm a big fan of lakefront riverwest stein, unibroue maudite, delirium tremens; or at least, those are some favorites that first come to mind. typically if a bar doesn't carry either of the three or has a ty beer selection i'll settle for newcastle brown or amstel light
if i'm trying to drink lightly and cheaply, then PBR or milwaukee's best light are my beers of choice. schiltz is also not bad, reminds me of pbr. |
