sometimes that little female voice in your head that tells you that you should voice your opinions about everything is wrong.
pick your battles and pick your battles wisely imo. If you say nothing the worst thing that can happen is that you did not get to talk about something that you wanted to, and was really none of your business in the first place.

i AM ing listening lol
last night pat literally said to me "you've taught me a lot" when we were discussing how they're not gonna work together any more.
that's the comment that made me start thinking, " is this all my doing". and also "is this the right thing to do for pat".
i'm his ing wife practically and we're in everything together. i support him and vice versa.
i worked for a ing for 3 years and it was the most mentally abusive job i've ever had (think of ari from entourage lol) and pat always told me to quit and " that ", etc...and i finally did and it was the best thing i could have done and pat's support played a huge role in my confidence in the whole thing. |

| they make about the same amount of money. only has nicer things (lexus, etc...) because of his girlfriend's credit and her daddy's money (he owns his own internet phone service). |

well to me it is.
that kid would be nothing without his girlfriend's credit and without pat and our roommate lol that's the bottom line. his girlfriend gave him a reality check when she left him 4 months ago and i guess now it's pat and the roommate's turn to give him a reality check. this might just be a little phase and they'll kiss and makeup in a month, who knows. |

no offense jamie, but that might be what is holding you back.
i can sit here and think
why does the guy that works less than me have more?
why do some people have everything handed to them and not me?
why why why why why why?
at the end of the day what matters most is that i see what the "is" is, and use it to take what i want to make those why's go away;)
you can always look at what you don't have and want it as it is human nature, but unless you can actually realize that you have to take it and not just stare from afar it means nothing at all. |

so you mean you would be impressed by a 20 year old driving around a benz E class that his dad got him? judging by your other posts on this topic, i doubt it. |

im not switching topics at all. are you wrong about what? about turning your head the other way re: WHY someone has all the finer things in life?
this is a matter of preference and a matter of how important things like dignity and respect are to a person jay, there is no wrong or right. i dont give a if someone is driving around a fancy car and living the high life, if they have that life because they do ty ing things in life to make money, i dont respect that.
perfect example is a case i worked on for one of the old attorneys i used to work for. all these guys in south florida were selling counterfeit pharamaceuticals to AIDS and cancer patients and driving around miami in their ing hummers and benzes. lol you're telling me it shouldn't matter why/how they got those things, just that they did and that makes them more ahead of the game?
