Feeling guilty (pg. 7)

well this is more of a situation where this guy is holding them back sort of thing you know what i mean?

i think my bf and the roommate need to branch off on their own..they have more skill than the and my roommate has a registered company, etc...

this is one of those situations where the saying "2 is company, 3's a crowd" applies.

think of it like the secretary who decides to go to law school and keeps working at the same firm she was a secretary at. she's never going to get the amount of respect she deserves. it would probably be in her best interest to venture out at a new firm or even start her own:)
lenazi
i wonder if she will understand that post or call you a hater.
lenazi
nevermind lol.
Slylee
i know exactly what he's talking about jay. i honestly truely do lol why can't you believe me or realize this is just a little different type of situation than "putting up with an at the office".

they mixed friendship with business and there's no respect anywhere and too much animosity and it's holding them back.

god i'm surprised you can't get it, i thought you were smart.
lenazi
if he has a client that is an but is throwing him some money does he storm out on them?
Slylee
lol wooosh

i'm done.
lenazi
the woosh is really the other way around.

;)

if this buddy you hate brought him an iota of business it can be considered as business lost now. Losing any business is never a good thing, economics 101.

even huge successful companies do not turn down opportunity to bring in more rain.
Slylee
they've lost several good customers because of 's attitude towards clients. forgot to mention that, but yea, acts like that to clients as well (like he is better than them or their equal lol yea right these people are millionaires). they recently did a bathroom for a handycapped person and it was 's clients and he didn't even bother to do his ing research and the guy can't even fit in the tub without issues. it was a mess and the just acted like it was the clients' fault for not being specific. that was what sort of started pat's attitude about ditching him.

Actually Jay, a good businessman knows it's all about relationships. Eventually the is going to become a liability when his clients find out that he doesn't give a /does poor work. His attitude will catch up to him and his reputation will prevent him from getting business.
Slylee
patrick had a client pull him aside after a job one time and said "next time i call you for a job, leave this guy home".

they ing knew all the talent and professionalism is with patrick. he has an excellent repuation everywhere he goes.

Silky Johnson
Yep. My bf's dad is a perfect example of someone in a situation like Pat's who left the cancer behind and became 10 times more successful.
Silky Johnson
Oh, and funny thing is...the in my bf's dad's situation recently had to file for bankruptcy, lol.
