I knew this was coming out soon, but I didn't know a date, nor had I seen the trailer before.
I'm a big fan of the Stargate franchise, but in hell, this looks awesome. Seriously looking forward to checking this out.

As much as I love sci-fi, SG1 and Atlantis were pretty lame. Probably won't bother with this.

Yeah, but look on the bright side; You would still have about one seasons worth of adequate entertainment though :D
I enjoyed the original movie, I have seen some episodes of SG1, but they're pretty scattered around the seasons, so I don't know the character particularly well. Only episode I even remember is where that black guy with the gold on his forehead is stuck in some game simulation gone horribly wrong LOL.
This however seems to be a bit more humorous maybe?
I liked the Empire Strikes Back reference haha.
