I'm willing to bet my life, most of these 'racist' remarks are for a laugh, nothing more. |

First of I must say running a nightclub is not easy in america. You constantly have to worry about the thousands of things that could go wrong and have you in the courtroom fighting ten to life. See... nightlife involves a lot of alcohol, illegal substances, firearms, drug dealers, pimps, pushers, prostitutes, gangsters, thugs, and so on... so even if you are just trying to run legit and make a return on your investment and you are not involved in any of the ''under-the-table-activity'' you constantly have to fight the prejudice of the people on what nightlife is about.
But there is always a cause and effect that at times can be quite obvious. If for example you refuse entry to the police chief of your local police department with his friends (other cops all on a bachelors party) you don't have to really be psychic to expect some trouble with the law in the near future.
- But woot!! The law is blind! Police would never abuse their power.
-Ok Then. ;) Go with that and see how it works out...
Nothing fails to inspire more sympathy to me than a situation like this as anybody with the mental capacity of a 13 year old could have predicted the outcome. All the signs were there! Glowing in right in his face! It takes a special kind of idiot to get in a rotten mess like this.
Had they had handled the situation differently and more professionally they would not have gotten themselves in this costly trouble. When a popular black author with media presence is paying you a -load of money to throw a book release party you do not turn her guests away. And when she contacts you about her guests being turned away and that the people excluded from the club feel the one common denominator is their race you don't text her back complaining about ''her people''.
Do not confuse racism with stupidity. Those are too different things. The problem was that this situation was a chain of stupid decisions. Really really stupid decisions stacked on top of one another for a fail of epic proportions. |

So this whiny bitch finally got her story carried by CNN - http://cnnwire.blogs.cnn.com/2009/1...ecause-of-race/
Oh, and it's now a $6B suit, lol.
If they think they are deserving of that sort of cash, someone should tell them that when we bailed out the banks, we made them trim fat...
Not to mention, does this dumb whore & friends think that some nightclub owner actually has $6B (or even equivalent insurance coverage) that would grant them even close to that amount |

Hey he's getting paid regardless of whether they win. He probably just thought he might as well come along for the laughs. |
