I'm afraid nothing changed, Jamie. My fiancée had to change quickly to one of those moveable braces because crooked teeth are sexy in the zany land of the Rising Sun, or something, and she couldn't find a single dentist to help her in her dental quest :p

i'm never getting wisdom teeth. thank god...heard so many horror stories from people who got them removed.

I had a lot of fun with mine :conf:

The dentist would crack jokes all the time, and the anaesthesiologist even sang to me before giving me the shot :p

My dentist wanted me to have them when I was a teenager, but I stupidly declined. I have really terrible teeth. I'm your stereotypical Brit with bad teeth. I never show them off when I smile because they're so ing bad. In a few years when I've got some money I'm going to have to get them fixed.

yea the japs have crooked teeth from the hiroshima bombing..that's the rumor at least lol

i wouldn't call it "cute" though. i mean i saw some REALLY ed up grills when living in japan. like teeth on top of teeth, etc.. and i'm a fan of "cute crooked teeth"...my bf has 2 in the front overlapping the front ones and i would kill him if he got them fixed. cutest smile ever.

I think it's pretty much like accent: A cute accent is not thick. A thick accent is not cute :p

As for Hiroshima, nah, they've had crooked teeth way before the Americans threw bombs with homoerotic names on them. Besides, the radiation wasn't so strong as to reach the whole country. My boss' parents were just a few kilometres away from the bombing in Nagasaki, and she's one of the few Japanese-born Japs I know with good teeth.
