I love the superhuman abilities in some dreams.
Once in a while I'll have this dream where I can fly by floating myself up off the ground and then "swimming" through the air. Every time it's the same odd sensation, though: I'll feel like I used to know how to fly, but forgot for a long time and am just now "remembering." A guy I know said he gets that exact same feeling in his flying dreams, too. Strange. |

sometimes after i wake up from a flying dream, i'll try to recreate the sensation in my feet that was in the dream in hopes of doing it irl :P
it's like a force (not an energy, per se) that emanates from my feet.
can never quite get it irl though.
in the dream its just so amazing. pure freedom and happiness |

In my flying dreams, it's sort of like just remembering how to "let go" of the ground.
In another dream, I was with one of my old swim coaches and some of my old teammates at a lake and my "practice" was to swim from one side of the lake to the other underwater the whole way, LOL. Strangely, in the dream we all told each other, "Okay, we can do this." Then we dove underwater and swam to the bottom, and there were all these crazy glowing creatures swimming around. Really fun. |

I have about 2-3 of those a year. It pisses me off cuz I want to fly around in full control but it is impossible. I've only had one dream where I was in total control like Superman or Goku from Dragonball Z...flying uber fast and doing whatever the frak I wanted..knocking obstacles (and people) out of my way just by wishing it..
It was beyond badass. |

| I don't get super-fast flight, just swimming through the air. Still lots of fun, though. |

not super blurry-type fast..but 2-3X as fast as the cars in the road. That's what you should aim for. ;) |
