The meat industry is worse for the environment than the auto industry. There is nothing sustainable or reasonable about it.

i'm not defending killing whales, but if you eat any type of meat you are being extremely hypocritical denouncing the killing of whales, but supporting the killing of any other animal.

how about cows, how about any fish, any creature killed for human gain?
you can't claim killing whales is bad and it's fine to kill anything else, it's that simple.

Its not about stopping people from eating whale meat, its about keeping the oceans ecosystem intact and not allowing countries to profit from the killing of whales. The International Whaling Commission, which Japan and 87 other countries are part of have agreed to not kill whales for profit yet Japan continues to profit in the name of "research", why is that ok? Why do you feel Japan should have special rights and should be allowed to exploit a loophole and be allowed to kill endangered species of whales? |
