Can I please start to plan my life again ? :D Yes, it revolves around ((())) and am very particular about who I want to see, especially given my travel time.
Instinctman
Whatever you want or vote or dont like it's the new policy. You waste your time! Like they will change that for a forum vote thread. It's made for the people who love the place, not just the dj's. Deal with it. my 2 cents
Marcus007
whatever lets wait and see how many people vote for what!
Instinctman
Have fun then, nothing will change. Like if less of 50ppl will convince the owner. Yeah right! Put your effort on voting who you want as a mayor or minister, then you'll really gotta have the power to change things. Not afterhours rules.
Marcus007
OKAY INSTINCTMAN

YOURE RIGHT

I WILL NOT VOTE IN ANYTHING BUT MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS!!!

Hate it... I want to travel to go to Stereo but do not want to take the risk.

I hope the switch by spring.
Instinctman
taking a risk ...omg! You like the place, then go. Don't hope, why you think they will change the rule if they create it?

I won't go if i don't know who's playing period. I go for the dj AND Stereo. We have to have both or i'll choose a safer option like Circus or RedLite

Didn't even go to Stereo since reopening... It's sad

I don't go out "afterhour" that much anymore but when i decide to do so, i can't afford to have a boring night because i go once every 2 or 3 months and the cost in energy the week after is too important.

If someone go to stereo almost every week then the concept is ok, its nice to have a surprise, to go there without having expectations, etc...

The concept is also Ok for someone who like every music genre. He just go out and have fun, that's perfet. But some people for example like prog, tribal House and doesn't like soulfull house or vice versa. If a cient require a specific sound to enjoy fully his night, then that person will like to know who's playing

That strategie focus on the regular but turn down another part of their clientele that music connaisseur, that choose their night wisely and go out on occasion
Instinctman
i'm sure, stereo will invite boring dj's to loose money and receive complains for fun. They want to satisfy their clients not just people who watch just the line up.

Why you just don't go out with your friends to have fun that's it and don't just play the *connaisseur* , so you can know new dj's, extend your *connaissance* and not staying stuck in your preferences.
BubbleBat
Stereo doesn't invite boring dj's but they might invite a dj that's playing a music genre that i don't like much. I will probably have fun but it will not be a GREAT night because the music will not be appealing to me a 100%

Again if you go out all the time, no problem. If its the only time you'll go out for the next 2 months, i wish you good luck

Its a personnal decision : I don't go if i don't know who's playing !!!! My decision is not better than yours and yours not better than mine either... its personnal

Its a business decision on the Stereo side. They decide to focus on the regulars and keep it more underground because they think that when its all said and done, it will be more profitable that way. Its their business, they do what they want

Enjoy
at the end of the day it will always be djs who are popular in the gay community

they will never book a techno, tech house, trance, etc djs

if they book someone who will pull non-gays as well (howells) they will announce the dj
