OK I'M GETTING A FREAKING PS2
now i need to know what is the best mod ship , i don't wanna be frickin annoyed by puttin the gameshark , then waiting 5 seconds , then loading the game , then whatever going thru this whole bull
i just wanna put in my burned game and play like i did before with my playstation 1 or dreamcast |

The PS2 modem (broadband and dialup) is going to release this August in the US for, I believe, $50. The modem will come packaged with Frequency which is a cool music game and has some electronica on it. The hard drive shouldn't be too much either...and once both of them are released in the US for a few months Sony plans on packaging them in with the PS2s for no added cost.
As for Gamecube...I prefer that over the XBox. While it does have a kiddie image there are some really good games on it. The Resident Evil remake is amazing, Eternal Darkness *drools*, Resident Evil 0 (Unreleased), Smash Brothers 2.... |

Agreed, and it's *cheap* too...I've been considering picking one up for the new Mario Sunshine title myself...it's got some very solid stuff coming out over the course of this year... |

IMO Xbox's "Halo" alone is worth the price of the xbox. But this is comming from a halo freak. I personally hate about 70% of the games on the Xbox, but i would still buy one just for halo. PS2 has such a huge library that its really a no brainer, unless there is a certain game on the Xbox that you love.
But also, there are a few key games comming for the Xbox which are supposed to have just as much impact as Halo did soo.... |
